KARP is an agency designed within the framework of Competitiveness Development Strategy in the Karlovy Vary Region to ensure the process of its implementation.

Agency's main activities will consist of :

• Coordination and provision of strategy implementation

• Direct implementation of some of the objectives and tasks (activities; projects)

• ensuing from the strategy

• Contracting, supervising, administrating and controlling other parties solutions in managing some of the tasks and objectives

• Project preparation including submitting grant proposals ensuing from the strategy

• Coordination of project preparation and providing valuable support to other parties in submitting grant proposals ensuing from the strategy

• Providing monitoring and evaluation of task performance and impacts of the strategy (for CMC – Control and Monitoring Committee)

• Budget preparation, update and management

• Proposing the strategy changes, amendments and updates

• Communication with key partners – indicated in the strategy for strategy implementation

• Providing service to CMC
